Wilderness First Aid
The Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) Wilderness First Aid course is designed specifically for Scouts and Scouters to handle medical emergencies in remote settings where "definitive care" (a hospital or ambulance) is more than one hour away. This course emphasizes leadership, resourcefulness, and effective patient care under pressure.
Course Information
ECSI offers a unique blended learning format that allows you to complete the cognitive portion of your training from the comfort and safety of your home.
