Steps to Become an ASHI CPR Instructor:
Meet Eligibility Requirements
ASHI typically requires that you have a current certification in CPR and AED. This may be from ASHI itself or another recognized provider.
Affiliate with an
ASHI Training Center
We will support your instructor activities and manage your certification status
Complete Instructor
Training Course
The training course will cover teaching methodologies, adult and pediatric CPR techniques, AED usage, and other relevant topics.
Teach ASHI CPR Courses
Once affiliated, you can start teaching ASHI CPR courses under the supervision of your Training Center
Attend and Pass the Instructor Course
Participate in the instructor training course. This may involve classroom instruction, hands-on practice sessions, and a written exam.
Maintain Certification
Renew your ASHI CPR instructor certification as required by ASHI and your Training Center.
