CNA stands for Certified Nursing Assistant. A CNA is a healthcare professional who assists patients with various healthcare needs, under the supervision of a licensed nurse (such as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse).

Responsibilities of an CNA
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a crucial role in the healthcare system, providing essential care and support to patients. Their responsibilities typically include:

Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Our program includes the mandatory 105 hours of clinical training that is necessary to qualify to become a CNA in Indiana. This includes about 75 hours of lab/clinical experience and 30 hours of classroom education. The program is intended to teach you about first aid, communication, aging and personal care.

Must not have a previous license in "revoked" status

Must pass a basic math and reading comprehension evaluation
